Introduction
The Minor in South and Southeast Asian Studies builds significant knowledge of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia through the study of culture, religion, history, literature, gender, art, film, and other disciplinary approaches. Students take two core introductory courses (HUMA 271 and HIST 220), plus listed electives or other courses under advisement. Contact the Program Advisor (Prof. Michael Slouber) as soon as possible. There are no prerequisites for declaring the minor.
Grade Requirements
A grade of C- or better is required for a student’s major or minor courses, and supporting courses for majors and minors.
